Dining Room

• All meals are charged as an extra expense
• Sunrise, Continental and English breakfasts are served daily
• A compulsory three-course lunch is served. The weekly menu is circulated and residents may choose alternatives to the main course (including vegetarian). There is also an a la carte menu available.
• Supper may be ordered from our LA Café Take Away menu or frozen meals selection.
• The LA Café menu is available during the day between 8am and 2pm for residents, their families and guests. Served on our verandha or in our garden.
• Room service can be arranged at any time should you not wish to eat in the dining room
• Guests are welcome to join you for meals in our guests’ alcove situated in the dining room
• Complimentary morning teas, with a treat, and afternoon teas are served in our bright communal lounges

Healthcare

Garden Grove offers care facilities in our well-appointed clinic with a registered sister and trained staff in attendance at all times.

Services offered include blood pressure and blood sugar readings, flu vaccination, bathing with assistance to dress, medicine control, dressing of wounds and injections. Bloods are taken and sent to laboratories, on doctor’s orders.

Trained staff can accompany residents on doctor/hospital appointments.

In-house services

• A hairdresser, podiatrist, pedicurist and, on request, a physical therapist.
• Activities include movies, music evenings, social get-togethers, Quiz Night, market and craft days. There is also monthly entertainment with singers & bands.
• Three guest suites are available so that your relatives and friends can visit you.
• Daily provisions are available for purchase.

Transport

A courtesy bus and car run daily to Shopping Centres, and pre-booked medical appointments. There are also outings to places of interest organised, at no additional cost.

The car, with a driver, is also available (pre-booked) to take you on any personal activities. A charge will be levied for personal use.
